I’ve been a bit quiet lately but the Babacita train is rolling.

Working with a few new clients. A clinical psychologist with aspects of physical and performance coaching as well as collaborative divorce. And also an integrated arts facility which encompasses healing arts, internal/external arts, physical arts and childhood education arts.

I’m also in the planning stages of bring Craig Gray from Ronin Empowerment Group out to the Portland, Maine area for some workshops. If you’re in the Portland area, see the attached link for a workshop interest survey.

And another little thing. Surprise! I’m nearly complete with a book that I’m self-publishing. Not on evolve, connect and inspire from a business or organizational standpoint, but one based on my own personal evolution. Something that comes from the depths of my heart, and a story that needs to be shared with the world. It’s called “Train to the Moon.”

Stay tuned for more details within the next month or so. And because you’re all wanting to know more, here’s a link to see a preview of the cover.

  3. Evolving Babacita – Proud WorldBlu Blu100 Member

It’s definitely been an interesting week here at Babacita headquarters. I’m extremely proud to announce that I am now part of WorldBlu!

“The purpose of WorldBlu is to unleash human potential and inspire freedom by championing the growth of democratic organizations worldwide.

Our vision is to see 1 billion people working in free and democratic workplaces.

We do this through a range of programs and services that enable business leaders to design, develop, and lead the most successful democratic organizations in the world.”

    Pretty cool, huh?

    Recently, they distributed this message:
“We’re looking for 100 top-tier consultants who would like to share the WorldBlu message with the world. Over the last 15 years, we’ve been inspiring organizations to become democratic workplace. Each day, we move closer to our vision of seeing one billion people working in freedom.

Now we are interested in reaching an even wider global audience and sharing our products, specifically the WorldBlu Scorecard™, with a group of world-class consultants to help develop the next generation of democratic workplaces.

We will call this group the “Blu100” as we plan to limit the number of people we will certify to use the WorldBlu Scorecard, and accept to be a part of this revolutionary group, to just 100 people worldwide.”

I’m still in a bit of shock that I was selected out of hundreds of international applicants to participate in the first Blu100 training consisting of 6-10 consultants. I am completely honored to now be a part of this phenomenal organization. This is definitely a huge step in my journey and in spreading the Babacita love.

I head to St. Louis in a couple weeks for training and certification.

Stay tuned, more great stuff coming.

  4. Update from a friend in Japan

I just received an update from a friend in Tokyo on the devastation:

    Hi John,

    Thank you again.

Huge earthquakes, Tsunami, Nuclear power plant down and Black out. I have never seen and been the situation like this and this is not movie at all.

Many beautiful towns 400km north from Tokyo were just devastated 3min after the first shocks and it also stopped almost every operations immediately. There are more than hundreds of people are still missing. Only we can do is just to pray these people are alive until rescues will find them.

Trains around Tokyo are operated only between 30 -50% of normal because of power station down and some of the trains are not even operated. Even in Tokyo, we still have aftershocks which is relatively large day and night.

Nuclear power plant have been damaged and exposed radio active materials and rays, but that does not need to be of concern to our health at all. The core of the nuclear plant have not been seriously damaged.

Anyway, I think our movement well controls this situation and surprisingly people here are quiet calm under such situation.
